About

Gerry Brache with DogMy name is Gerry Brache, I am a licensed massage therapist with my office conveniently located in Blue Hill. I have worked hard to create a professional massage practice which offers a safe, respectful and nurturing environment where clients can relax, heal and be rejuvenated. In addition to Wellspring Massage Therapy, I have a background in emergency rescue medicine. I hold Maine and national licensure as an EMT as well as an Advanced Wilderness EMT and BLS instructor for the American Heart Association. I am an instructor of wilderness medicine and technical rescue for the SOLO School in Conway New Hampshire.

Wilderness Medicine-Nepali Guides and SherpasI have been very fortunate to work with my good friend Chandra Ale, owner of Initiative Outdoor, Nepal to bring wilderness medicine and rescue programs to Nepali guides and Sherpas. This has been a great privilege and I always look forward to the next adventure and teaching opportunity. I have always been drawn to healthy living. I believe that we can control much of what our body experiences positive or negative. I also feel we are able to enhance our body’s natural healing abilities through supportive care such as, nature, meditation, yoga, attitude, outlook, diet and appropriate exercise. With this in mind, several years ago I studied massage therapy at Acadia School of Massage in Bar Harbor, Maine in order to be able to offer my services and outlook to the community. I have experience in many massage modalities and will create an integrated experience that is best for your situation. I will tune in to your needs and can apply strong pressure if needed while at the same time I am sensitive and work with gentle subtlety and intuition.

I am fortunate to live on the beautiful coast of Maine with my wife and son, and our beloved, adopted Nepali dog. I look forward to working with you!
